Hiring Plan in Skillate provides a structured hiring process from the time of job creation to the time of rolling out the offer letter. It streamlines the entire interviewing experience and develops a standard procedure to evaluate candidates at every step of the hiring process.
By having a structured Hiring Plan, you mitigate the risk of biases, assign clear roles and bring efficiency in the process.
While Skillate provides an option to configure a default Hiring Plan in the settings page for the organizational level, there is also an option to customize a Hiring Plan for any job individually as per the job’s requirement.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to Settings > Hiring Plan Setup
The Hiring Plan Setup page lets you add stages and rounds within those stages as per your organization’s hiring philosophy.
Note: Skillate has two default stages- Screen and Offer. The Screen stage is where Skillate’s AI engine gives a matching score to the candidates. While the Offer is the final stage, where you can mark the candidate as hired and roll out the offer letter.
- To add a stage, click “Add Stages”. Enter the stage name and click “Add 1 Selection”.
Note: Additionally, you can also copy the hiring plan from any existing job.
- Click “+Round” to create a new round within a stage. Enter the round name and choose the type of round from the drop-down. Click “Add 1 Selection” to add the round.
Similarly, you can add multiple stages and rounds in the Hiring Plan.
In your Hiring Plan, Skillate allows your organization to configure three kinds of rounds for every stage added. These rounds can be Interview, Feedback and Form.
Interview: In this type, recruiters can schedule interviews, send calendar invites to the hiring team and the candidate
Feedback: In this type, recruiters may require interviewers to evaluate the candidate by filling a set of questions. This is useful when there is an internal evaluation or at a time of walk-in interviews. To know more about Feedback Questionnaire, click here.
Note: Feedback questionnaire is not exclusive to feedback step, it can be configured both in interview and feedback rounds.
Interviewers can submit feedback on interviews using scorecard and questionnaires. To do that, these need to be configured first at the organization level and then can be changed at the job level. To know more, click on Scorecard and Questionnaire.
Please mention that interviewers can submit feedback on interviews using score card and questionnaires and to know more they have to configure it first at org and then in job. And add relevant links here
Form: These are used to collect information from the candidate as required by the recruiter before moving ahead to the next stage. To know more about the Candidate Form, click here.
- Once you have added all the required stages and rounds in each stage, you can rearrange the stages by dragging them up and down.
Note: The flow that is defined here will be the default flow for all new jobs created. However, recruiters can still change the hiring flow in each job. To know more about the job hiring plan, click here.
